I’m happy to share that I have been selected to continue serving as Co-Chair of the Golfview Estates Neighborhood Association. I served as sole Chair under a temporary governance structure for the last half of 2023, and for 2024 under our new structure I will have a Co-Chair alongside me in the wonderful John Ransdell.

I am incredibly proud of how far we have come since myself and several neighbors teamed together to form the association in June of 2023. We have over 20 members who all *actively* serve on various committees and projects and represent a great mix of young professionals, retirees, new families, homeowners, renters, and college students. We’ve been awarded a grant to found a Friends of Addison Park group to steward and care for our wonderful neighborhood park. We have an official “Welcoming Committee” to greet new neighbors with branded tote bags and coupons from surrounding businesses. We are engaging in creative, thoughtful, and forward-thinking discussions about how to approach residential development in the area. I know of many associations who struggle to attract neighbors willing to serve; I am so grateful to have a neighborhood where we over overwhelmed with people willing and able to build a better Golfview Estates.

2024 will be a big year for us, and I am excited to see us continue to build on our foundation!
